Meet the Photographer
Hey, my name is james
Yep, that's me, back in the good old 90's enjoying (yes I cried after this photo was taken) my first taste of that wedding life.
Anyways, if you've landed on this page, there's a good chance you want to get to know me a bit better before you make any decisions.
And that's ok, this is (and I'm not being bias) one of the biggest decisions you will make for your wedding day. The photographer you choose will pretty much be by your side for the whole day, so it pays to know you actually like them, beyond their work.
So let's do it. I'll tell you a bit about me, introduce you to the people who matter most to me, and share a few of my favourite photos along the way.
I'm a husband, and a very lucky one at that
In 2018, I married my now wife Daniela. Life has been crazy, and has never once gone as intended, but there is no one I would rather do it all with. We have travelled the world, built a home, and started a family together.
Daniela is an amazing Mother, and absolutely keeps both Mia and I in check (she basically has 2 children). She is the reason anything gets done, and honestly, without her, I wouldn't have anything I have in my life now.

At the risk of sounding like vin diesel...it's all about family for me

Then there's mia
I don't think an about me section would be complete without the little tornado that lives with us. Mia, to this day, my proudest creation. She is the reason I wake up in the morning and push hard, to give her an amazing life. A life she deserves.
She is by far and away the funnest person I have ever met, in part because she is a mirror copy of me (according to everyone who meets her). She is my partner in crime, she is who I turn to when I have a ridiculous idea for an adventure and I know Daniela will say no. Whilst the speed at which time is moving is terrifying, I am loving watching her become a little lady before my very eyes. I couldn't be prouder.
then there's lola bear
As if one tornado wasn't enough, we decided we needed one that would also try to eat our shoes. Meet Lola, or as Mia and I call her, Lola Bear. The most typically loving Labrador, she's Mia's best friend. Absolutely hilarious and crazy, the house feels weird when she isn't here. Not a great watchdog though, lets local cats sleep on her in our yard, after they've destroyed my veggie garden.
My faith is everything
In early 2025, I turned my life to Christ. Six months later we lost my father, and the Church wrapped around me and my family and helped get us through it.
I absolutely love our community, the people and the message. I serve in various ministries, including media, and occasionally get handed a microphone — so it turns out my ability to talk underwater has finally come in handy.
